You can't have everything — where would you put it?

I thought we'd have the rest of our lives together. As it turned out, it was the rest of her life.

About Susan

Susan was the kind of person whose wit could fill a room and whose warmth could make anyone feel at home. Her humor was sharp, her heart was generous, and she had a gift for saying exactly the right thing — often with a smile that made it unforgettable.

She had a deep love of good food, and few things made her happier than a steaming bowl of cioppino or a beautifully made paella — seafood in any form was a celebration to her.

Susan was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD) in 2017, and she faced the years that followed with the same grace and spirit that defined her whole life. She passed away on September 5, 2023, leaving behind Randal, Bruce, and a family that loved her deeply and will carry her with them always.
